The beach club scene in Marbella has exploded over the last few years with lots of new establishments opening up and down the coast, including some top and well known brands. Trying to recommend the best is difficult as people prefer different things from the beach club experience. While some people want a lively setting with dancing and lots of music, others want a more tranquil setting lazing in the sun and sipping a few cocktails. Some people want the height of luxury being waited on with Champagne and canapés whereas others want a more traditional Spanish setting with a cold glass of sangria and some olives. The great thing about the Marbella beach club scene is that whatever your preference, there will most definitely be a beach club totally suitable for you.

Nao is not strictly a beach club as it is not actually by the beach, it is one of the new breed of such establishments that are ‘pool clubs’. Other than that everything else replicates a traditional beach club from the vibe and music to the food and fun. Once you are sipping cocktails around the pool in luxury sunbeds with the tunes belting out around you, it is hard to remember that the sea is a couple of kilometres away, but to be honest, so what!

Playa Padre is very much about the music as well as the sun bathing. Don’t expect to go and have a nice relaxing sleep on a sunbed, go if you want to have a party in the sun with some great tunes pumping out while you drink and dance the day and night away.

La Cabane beach club is quite possibly one of the most luxurious settings in Marbella. Located in the former Los Monteros Hotel and now the Kimpton Los Monteros Marbella, it is partnered with the world famous brand Dolce & Gabbana, decked out in their signature blue and white pattern. This is a million miles away from the craziness of beach clubs like Nikki Beach and Ocean Club, this is refined and luxurious and part of a super luxury resort.
La Cabane beach club in Marbella not only combines some of the most delicious cuisine, its elegant décor and beds provide the perfect place to lay back and relax while sipping on a glass of Champagne or a cocktail (or two).
La Cabane is not for the beach ‘raver’. If you want loud music and dancing then this is not the right choice. If you prefer your beach club to be a place for relaxation and luxury, then this is 100% for you. The cuisine at La Cabane is also legendary and refined.
