La Sala by the Sea is an important part of the La Sala Group, which has multiple locations around the Puerto Banus area. The beach club itself started life as Buddha Beach but changed its name to fit in with the rest of the La Sala Group, first to Sala Beach and then to La Sala by the Sea.

It is located between the Guadalpin Banus Hotel and Ocean Club Marbella with beds both on the beach and around the pool. Over the years it has become one of the most popular beach clubs in Marbella both for its fun atmosphere and its amazing food.

There is a mixture of beds from singles to double and VIP beds located on rows around the pool. Booking is essential as they get booked up well in advance, even on the beach. Patrons using the beach beds are also allowed to utilise the pool.

Everyday there is music by resident DJs mixed with saxophonists, electric violinists and exotic dancers. Cocktails flow from opening until closing and the dancing generally kicks in around lunchtime.

The restaurant area can be booked just for eating, meaning you do not need to be using the beach club to enjoy their magnificent food. There is a great choice of dishes from burgers, fish and chops, and steaks but they are really famous for their Thai platters and Thai curries thanks to their resident Thai chef. Again booking is highly recommended due to its popularity.
