It is fair to say that Marbella has recently gained the reputation for receiving celebrities a little bit further down the alphabet than ‘A-list’.
The last few years have seen the cast of TOWIE make Marbella their holiday location for filming, along with the likes of Katie Price and even the odd Made in Chelsea cast member appearance.
But Marbella does see its fair share of celebrities higher up the scale too. Antonio Banderas for example is a regular visitor, as is the lovely Eva Longoria.
However, tonight, the 5 August 2014 topped the celebrity showcase in Marbella. The Starlite Festival hosts a number of fantastic concerts throughout August, but tonight they were lucky enough to have secured the Marbella Premier of the box office hit ‘The Expendables 3’.
Having premiered in London recently it was a real coup for Marbella to be able to screen the Spanish premier of the film (known in Spain as Los Mercinarios 3).
The film is just one big star studded line up, but in Marbella for the Premier was the amazing Sylvester Stallone, Wesley Snipes, Jason Statham, Antonio Banderas and Kellan Lutz.
Attending the screening were also many stars & celebrities of Spanish films, TV and music. It was really an A-list event and something Marbella and of course the Starlite Gala can be proud of, and lets hope this is the first of many more such events!
