Those of you that may not know too much about horse racing will usually know of two to three main meetings a year; The Grand National, Royal Ascot and the Derby.
This year in Marbella, Sarah Nixon, (co-founder of Bonita Estates) has decided to get a bunch of lovelies together to celebrate ‘Ladies Day’ at Royal Ascot, in the comfort of the Costa del Sol sunshine (20th June 2013).
Whether you like horse racing or not MOST ladies love to dress up, and this is your chance to dress for charity. Being Marbella there will be no shortage of glamorous clothes on show.
The event is being thrown in aid of ‘Mabs Marbella’ Cancer Support Group (www.mabscancersupport.org) and will be held at the K Bar in La Heredia (about 15 minutes drive from Marbella).
La Heredia is a beautiful location just off the Ronda Road, which is about 20 minutes from Marbella and the coast.
Tickets for Royal Ascot Ladies Day on the Costa del Sol are just 45 euros. Upon arrival you will get a complimentary glass of Pimms or Cava, but make sure you are there in time for the first race at 3pm.
The big races of the day include Ascot Gold Cup and the Diamond Jubilee Stakes
10 euros from each ticket will go to the charity and supporters of the event include Bonita Estates, Golden Tarts and Sunset Beach Club.
