The legend that is Nile Rodgers was back in Marbella performing all those great Chic disco classics we all love to sing along to on a night out.
From the very first song the crowd were up on their feet dancing as he played all the hits we know and love as he performed at the Puente Romano tennis courts.
Right now Nile Rodgers is a major part of the music scene again having just had a hit single Get Lucky with Daft Punk, (not that he has ever left it really).
Having been to a few concerts this year I think most people agreed that this was one of the most anticipated, and it did not disappoint.
It was by far the stand-out concert and most entertaining.
A highlight for some of the audience was to be invited up on stage to dance to the last tune with Nile Rodgers and his band.
It was a great sight, and great fun to watch, especially as Talk Radio Europe’s Hannah Murray was up there along with friends Michelle Mack and Karen Jane Danzig, who at one point appeared to be duetting with Nile.
No matter how many times Nile Rodgers comes back to Marbella I don’t think anyone will ever tire of seeing him perform.
It really did seem that the whole of Marbella had come to see this one as wherever we went, we bumped in to numerous people we knew.
