Well it sure is a fantastic concert season this year in Marbella and it continued last night with Earth, Wind and Fire under the stars at the Puente Romano Hotel Tennis Club.
There was a real mixture of ages at the venue to watch the concert. Many of us grew up with their music but it was great to see so many younger people up and dancing.
It is safe to say that the era of Earth Wind and Fire was a truly amazing time for the music industry and we look forward to more appearances from stars of the 70’s and 80’s in Marbella.
Marbella has truly taken hold of the summer concerts and each year we see some great acts performing at venues like the Puente Romano and lately, the Marbella Starlite Festival.
A packed house of around 3,000 people danced and sang their way through some amazing vocals to all of the classic Earth, Wind and Fire hits. I don’t think there was anybody left sitting by the end of the concert and the atmosphere was electric.
Even sports stars like the former Welsh rugby captain Jonathan Davies, over in Marbella on holiday, danced the night away as Al McKay the lead guitarist for Earth, Wind and Fire guided the incredible band through some of the most famous tunes of the 70’s and 80’s.
All we can say is that the Hotel Puente Romano was a Boogie Wonderland last night.
