When we mention the stunning Eva Longoria most of you will automatically think ‘Desperate Housewives’, and to be fair you are correct. But outside of her fame in one of the most popular shows in the USA she works tirelessly for charity which includes, ‘The Global Gift Foundation’.
The Global Gift Foundation was founded by regular Marbella visitor Maria Bravo along with Alina Peralta. It is a non-profit organisation which tries to help children, women and families in times of desperation and need.
Unlike many other charity organisations, The Global Gift Foundation gives 100% of the funds received to other charities and organisations, which in turn directly help those in need.
In Marbella a now annual event is the Global Gift Gala and is without doubt it is one of the most sought after VIP events of the year, hosted by none other than Eva Longoria and Vicente del Bosque.
2013’s Marbella Global Gift Gala will see some amazing acts perform at the Gran Meliá Don Pepe on Marbella on 4th August.
Performers include renowned artist Nate James, star of the early rounds of the singing competition The Voice with a singing career spanning many year and interviewed by Hannah Murray on Talk Radio Europe recently. Other acts will be Scottish star Tallia Storm, a name that will one day become a household name, The Lecheritas and Sara Pi.
