We have some amazing Marbella news! The fine dining scene in Marbella is already flying at new heights with some of the world’s top restaurant brands setting up shop. So it comes as no surprise that another project is underway and yet another one that involves Marbella’s highly talented Michelin Star chef, Dani Garcia.
This brand new project will be the renovation of the former Aresbank iconic building on the Marbella Golden Mile, and will be a partnership between Dania Garcia and Grupo Mosh, both of whom already have a number of well know establishments in Marbella.
Aresback occupies 2,000 m2 and is just a short stroll from the beach. The announcement of the new restaurant and hospitality project stated that it will be set to open in 2024 in the old Arab Bank of Spain building, which has been empty for a number of years.
The building on the Golden Mile is probably one of the most recognisable and iconic structures, and was originally built back in the 1980s. It is just 100 metres from the beach and Marbella promenade and includes undergound parking, as well as a garden area.
This is the first pairing of Grupo Mosh and Dani Garcia and as yet, they have not come up with a name for this exciting new project or a firm opening date, other then 2024.
Both entities already have successful interests in the vicinity. Dani Garcia has Bibo, Leña, Alelí, Tragabuches, Kemuri and Lobito de Mar, and is also involved in a project in the new port in Malaga.
Grupo Mosh also have their own hospitality venues such as Playa Padre, Nu Downtown and Motel Particular.
This Aresbank project is seen as an important re-invention of this iconic building, so much so that the mayoress of Marbella, Angeles Muñoz, visited the venue accompanied by Albert Beniflah of Grupo Mosh and Javier and Laura Gutiérrez from the Dani García Group.
As soon as we find out more about this project, we will bring you all the info.
