Some very exciting news for foodies in Marbella is the launch of one of the most iconic restaurant brands which has establishments in the most exclusive resorts and hotels across the world.
Cipriani Marbella will be located in the prestigious Puente Romano Hotel and Resort and will bring the ‘Harry’s Bar’ restaurant to Marbella under the brand name Cipriani.
Harry’s Bar Venice was the first establishment, opening way back in May 1931 by founder Giuseppe Cipriani Senior. It was frequented by ‘high-flyers’, film stars, artists and even royalty. Some of the names that often frequented their establishments included Audrey Hepburn, Orson Welles and Ernest Hemingway.
Harry’s Bar in Mayfair, London also became an iconic venue pulling in a select crowd who enjoyed fine dining and beautiful cocktails, until its closure a few years ago. They also have establishments in New York, Miami, Hong Kong, Monte Carlo and more.
Under the Cipriani brand, more venues were added around the world, with the latest being Cipriani Marbella at the Puente Romano on the Marbella Golden Mile.
Anyone familiar with the Cipriani brand will instantly recognise the distinctive blue, and a darker variation of this has been used as the interior of the restaurant and bar along with white, stunning wooden features and of course their signature leather chairs.
Giuseppe Cipriani brought fame to the peach bellini by pretty much inventing this classic cocktail in 1948, made with peach juice and Prosecco.
Cipriani Marbella will offer a selection of wonderful and authentic dishes along with a selection of Harry’s Bar classics.
With Nobu already at the Puente Romano, Cipriani is a welcome addition to the Marbella food scene and it is sure to bring in even more diners to the ever-growing Puente Romano.
