Over the last few years Marbella and other resorts on the Costa del Sol have become places for many top singers and bands to add dates to either as a one off event or part of their European tours. Marbella has multiple venues for such concerts such as the new Marbella Arena (in the old Puerto Banus bull ring), the tennis courts at the Puente Romano and of course Starlite.
We have seen some top singers head to the Costa del Sol such as Jennifer Lopez, Jessie J, Enrique Iglesias, Elton John, Simply Red, Nile Rogers and many more.
As well as top current performers there is always an array of 70s, 80s and 90s artists doing tours. We have been treated to Bananarama, The Human League, UB40, Chic, Earth Wind & Fire, George Benson and even the Jacksons.
As we start the year, I always get excited to see who is heading to one of the Costa del Sol venues in Marbella or Fuengirola and already, we have not been disappointed with the announcements.
On 15th June 2023 Robbie Williams has added the Mare Nostrum arena in Fuengirola to his Spanish tour dates.
Starlite Auditorium is Marbella is also announcing artists with the most recent being Rod Stewart who will be performing on 21st July 2023 in the venue.
Other confirmed acts for Starlite Marbella include:
- Lionel Richie on the 6th July 2023
- Anastacia on the 12th July 2023
- Ricky Martin returns to Starlite Marbella on the 14th July 2023
- Norah Jones will be performing on 27th July 2023
It is still very early in the season so we are expecting many more announcements, but what we have so far is already looking like it could be a great year for concerts in Marbella and the Costa del Sol.
