Keeping kids amused during the ‘out of school’ times seems to be a challenge for many parents. But believe it or not, there are lots of kids activities in Marbella and Estepona to help you live up to the challenge.
Some of the activities are better for the warmer summer months, but there are still many that are all year round.
Below we have listed some of the main kids activities in Marbella and surrounding areas.
Aventura Amazonia
A popular and slightly more physical activity is the tree top adventure park located in Elviria in East Marbella. It is something that parents can so with their children together, if they wish. Safety is a key factor so once you have had the mandatory 15 minutes training, you set off to test your climbing skills. You will find different levels of difficulty and activities will include climbing walls, rope swings, obstacles and zip wires.
Bike and Pedal Car Hire
If you fancy getting some fresh air and seeing some of the local scenery then you could consider hiring a go-kart with 2 or 4 seats so you and the kids can head off along the promenade towards Puerto Banus and take in the sights. You will often see families sharing the pedal work and generally having lots of fun. These can be hired from Yep Bike, next door to the Hogan Stand pub in San Pedro.
Dolphin Trips
Another popular activity is a dolphin trip from either Marbella or Puerto Banus. You can pre-book a trip with some even offering lunch, drinks and a stop for a spot of mid sea swimming. The highlight of course is when you spot the dolphins darting alongside the boat. These trip run pretty much daily (weather conditions permitting) and it might even be possible to turn up and get a ticket on the day, although it is probably better to pre-book.
Costa Jump
This is a trampoline playground where kids (and adults) can bounce away to their hearts content. It re-opened within the last couple of years and is a fun place to take kids to burn off some of that energy.
Mundo Mania
Although just outside of Marbella towards Estepona you will find a very popular play centre which specialises in keeping your children entertained. They have many different activities from an indoor play centre to an outdoor park. In the summer they have special events and foam parties as well as many additional things to keep children amused all day. They don’t forget the adults either and they have many things to keep them entertained as well.
