Hard Rock Hotel Marbella is a newcomer to the hotel scene on the Costa del Sol. Having opened partially during the pandemic, 2023 will be the first year of being fully operational since modernising and revamping the former Andalucia Plaza Hotel.
With Hard Rock Hotels already established in Spanish locations such as Tenerife and Ibiza, Marbella is set to become another success for the group. A big part of the overall ethos at Hard Rock Hotels is dining and entertainment. They are also welcome guests that are not staying at the hotel for certain paid events.
Last year their pool parties were a big hit for locals who could book a day at the pool and enjoy dancing and tunes by top DJs.
This year Hard Rock Hotel Marbella is continuing to offer events around the pool kicking off on Friday 30th June with the stylish and cool pool party, Heatwave.
The action kicks off at midday and will carry on until late into the night with a host of top DJs including, the iconic David Penn who has been filling dance floors for over 25 years in the Spanish Electric music scene.
Other DJs throughout the day will conclude Tito, Dave Doyle, Jose Galliano and Stella. They will be supported by club favourite Alex Bongo on percussion and Janina on sax.
Also performing at the opening pool party is a legend of 80s and 90s Angie Brown. She sang with a number of bands including, Bizarre Inc as well as adding vocals to Mark Morrison’s hit tune Return of the Mack, before going on to perform backing vocals for a number of top artists.
This will be the ultimate pool party to open the summer season at Hardrock Hotel Marbella and it is only available to people 18 and over.
To book just see the Hard Rock website. Prices for the Balinese Beds for up to 8 people are €800 plus booking fee of €40. The Nido Beds are €1,000 for up to 10 people, plus booking fee of €50. The prices also include credit for food and drink.
