It was a real treat to be invited to the 2nd birthday celebrations of the stunning Japanese Fusion restaurant Tomodachi. The restaurant is located on the San Pedro / Nueva Andalucia borders in the Nueva Campana area boasting large outdoor terraces and comfortable interior dining.
The word Tomodachi simply means ‘friends’ in Japanese and that is how everyone was made to feel thanks to Banti and his attentive team. They were always on hand with drinks and food trays to ensure that their guests got to enjoy a range of their dishes.
The food is Japanese Fusion and we were treated to a number of different canape versions of their menu from the delightful (and spicy) ceviche to their signature dish of Black Miso Cod. Other food served on the evening included fired rice balls, prawn popcorn, teriyaki chicken and teriyaki beef, salmon sashimi and a selection of sushi.
The invite only event for their second anniversary was well attended with flowing drinks and food on offer throughout the evening. It was the ideal way for local media and social media influencers to experience the wonderful food they serve and to get a taste of the superior levels of customer service.
Tomodachi Marbella is a great setting ideal for those warm summer nights as well as the cooler winter months, and there are so many items on the menu to work through.
The interior of the restaurant is elegant and stylish with a lovely bar area. You can see that lots of thought has gone into the layout and styling of this restaurant and we are definitely looking forward to visiting again (and again).
There is ample parking around the restaurant and it is about 10 minutes from central San Pedro and just a few minutes from Puerto Banus.
