Bazlama Brings a Taste of Turkey to El Paraíso

A new healthy food option has landed in Marbella from Turkey and is set to become a firm favourite with locals and visitors alike. The food is all about flavour and with Turkish cuisine already renowned for packing in the flavours, we are all in for a massive treat.

We were lucky enough to be invited to the launch event for the Turkish restaurant brand Bazlama by Georgina of Shaw Marketing, which already has venues in Dubai and Turkey. On 15th July, more than 100 guests gathered to mark the grand opening of Bazlama, located in El Paraíso, Estepona. Among those in attendance were the Mayor of Estepona, José María García Urbano, Councillor for Commerce Cristina Cintrano, well-known TV figure Beatriz Simó, and several prominent members of the local business community.

Bazlama is the first restaurant in Europe to introduce the traditional Turkish breakfast experience, offering residents and tourists on the Costa del Sol a genuine taste of Turkey’s rich culinary heritage and warm hospitality. If the canapes that were distributed are anything to go by, the food is going to be incredible!

The official inauguration was led by Mayor García Urbano, who cut the ribbon alongside television presenter and journalist Beatriz Simó, and restaurant founders Salmeh and Sarah Moravvej, the sisters that have decided to bring this amazing brand to Estepona.

The restaurant Cesme Bazlama Kahvalti Marbella will be open every Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to midnight each day where they will be serving their famous Turkish breakfast as well as other menus and dishes.

The concept is new to Marbella and is exciting to see something that is working so well in places like Dubai being brought to Marbella. An all you can eat concept for the breakfast / brunch will have a very reasonable fixed charge and will use locally sourced, fresh ingredients with mouth-watering Turkish dishes that have been handed down by family members for decades.

The inauguration event was very well attended with many of the local media turning out alongside selected guests who were all treated to some fine cuisine, entertainment and great company.
